    The Ruder Group was founded in 1998. For over 20 years, we have partnered with only the best independent manufacturers to bring innovative products, top-tier customer service and forward thinking to the Design/Build community of Chicago and Wisconsin. Our diverse backgrounds in design, construction, sales and project-management allow our team to consistently deliver a best-in-class experience to our client base. We collaborate daily with architects, designers, furniture dealers, GCs, installers and end-users to ensure unrivaled execution on our projects. Our team approach allows us to deploy the proper resources and appropriate people for each individual project. We understand there is no “one-size-fits-all” in our business.

      Matt founded The Ruder Group in 1999. He has been active in the Chicago A&D community for close to 20 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to all of his clients and projects. Matt is an active supporter of IIDA, DIFFA and IIDC. He, his wife Jennelle and three kids live in Chicago.

      As TRG’s offering continues to grow, Chrissy focus lies in Architectural Product Sales. She is truly a resource for the A&D Community and her attention to detail serves this role well. She lives with her husband and son in Chicago.

      Alyssia covers the states of WI and MN for the Rüder Group! She has a BFA from the University of Wisconsin - Stout in Interior Design. Prior to coming to the RG, she practiced interior design at dealerships and within A&D. This unique background has equipped her with a well-rounded understanding of the industry. She is the Co-Director of Milwaukee City Center on the IIDA Board and she and her hubby reside in Milwaukee with their pup, Nash!

      Brad was fortunate enough to grow up with two parents in Contract Furniture sales and has had a keen eye for furniture from a very young age (playing legos on the Noguchi coffee table at 6 years old). He received his Bachelors in Fine Arts from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has a very developed creative side which is beneficial within the A&D community. He prides himself on his product knowledge and unparalleled customer service. Brad lives in the suburbs with his husband, Alan and their precious toy poodle, Dolly.

      Carrie has a Bachelor of Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati. She has 17 years of experience as an interior designer in both New York and Chicago. Carrie also worked as a corporate account manager for a furniture dealer in Chicago prior to joining manufacture sales in 2017. Given her extensive design background, and both dealer and manufacturer sales experience, Carrie's breadth of knowledge and experience make her an invaluable member of our team. Carrie enjoys traveling with family and friends, seeking out the most scenic hikes possible, when not spending time at home in Chicago with her husband and two sons.

      With a background in design and start in construction, Cedric is our project manager. He provides insight, direction and technical support to projects at any phase. Cedric and his family live in Chicago.

      Suzanne has been a member of the Chicago Architecture and Design community for over 30 years. With her unique perspective - having filled roles as end user, specifier, project manager and dealer - she has a deep understanding of the interiors design and procurement process. Suzanne works to support the Ruder Group in all matters organizational and project management. She lives in Oak Park with her family.

      Edgar has a residential interior design background and in 2019 he decided to give the commercial furniture world a go. He comes to us from a furniture dealer in Chicago. Given Edgar's extensive design background, organizational skills and creative talents makes him an essential member of our team.

      He lived 6 years in Argentina, which lead him to the design industry. He enjoys traveling and showing friends and family around Chicago.
